...Queen of Denial...

...title kind of comes from The Dresden Dolls's song "Delilah" (...you are impossible Delilah: the princess of denial, and after seven years in advertising you are none the wiser...)...

Okay, I know that nobody really reads the artist's comment, but...well...I'll rant anyway.

I find it sad how one bright, sunny morning, you wake up and find that your field of flowers turned to a wasteland of weeds overnight. Overnight? I don't think so. It's called Oblivious Innocence, my dear friends and foes (I was going to use that as a title for this one...but I figured since I named 3 of my poems and one of the songs I made with that, it would be title-kill to name this one with it).

"Queen of Denial, you lost that childhood playmate once again...your afternoon was paid in dreams...now you woke up in reality..."
-yeah, that's exactly what I'm telling the subject in this photo...It's a pity that we have to wake up from that dream we've lived through during most of our childhood years. In society's words: Growing up sucks. Realizing everything you believed in is a hoax sucks even more. But, well, what can we do?
we throw out the withering roses and focus on the ones that are blooming! (See, I'm not entirely pessimistic)
